About the role

We're looking for a Digital Analytics Tagging Manager to make sure the data we collect from our website and app is accurate, complete and trustworthy from the moment it's captured. You'll specify, build, test and maintain tracking using Google Tag Manager, working closely with analytics, data activation and engineering teams to turn tracking requirements into robust, reliable implementations. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role for someone who's genuinely curious about how digital tracking works under the hood, and who takes pride in getting the data right.

What you'll be doing

  • Implementing and maintaining tracking across web and app using Google Tag Manager
  • Translating tracking requirements into tags, triggers and variables aligned to agreed data layer standards
  • Validating data collection through rigorous testing, debugging and QA
  • Supporting the flow of tracking data to downstream analytics, activation and media platforms
  • Working closely with the wider analytics and data activation teams to improve tracking coverage and consistency
  • Collaborating with engineering and product teams to embed tagging into everyday delivery
  • Spotting and escalating tracking gaps, issues or risks, with clear evidence
  • Following data privacy, consent and regulatory best practice in everything you implement

What we're looking for

  • Hands-on experience implementing digital tracking with Google Tag Manager
  • Solid understanding of event-based data collection for analytics and/or advertising
  • Experience with an enterprise digital analytics platform, ideally Amplitude
  • Comfortable working with data layers, events and front-end implementations
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript to collect and manipulate front-end data
  • A meticulous, QA-minded approach and real attention to detail
  • Awareness of privacy, consent and regulatory considerations in data collection
  • A curious, proactive mindset – always looking for ways to improve tracking and data quality
  • Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is a plus, but not essential

What's on offer

  • £85,000–£95,000 base salary
  • Up to 15% annual bonus
