We’re supporting a leading aerospace supply chain organisation in the search for a Strategic Sourcing Buyer to join their growing purchasing team.
This is a commercially focused role where you’ll lead RFQs, negotiate supplier agreements and develop sourcing strategies that directly impact business performance.
Key Responsibilities Lead supplier sourcing activities, RFQs and commercial negotiations.
Identify, evaluate and develop strategic suppliers.
Drive cost reduction, supplier performance and sourcing initiatives.
Support new customer programmes and product introductions.
Monitor market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure supply chain excellence.
About You Aerospace procurement or sourcing experience.
Knowledge of aerospace (advantagoeus but not essential) and supply chain processes.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
Commercially minded, organised and relationship-driven.
