An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a leading aerospace manufacturer at a time of continued growth and investment.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you’ll take ownership of a multidisciplinary engineering function, leading the delivery of innovative composite solutions for globally recognised aerospace programmes. This is a highly visible role where you’ll influence engineering strategy, develop high-performing teams and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the business.

You’ll be responsible for leading engineering activities across manufacturing, New Product Introduction (NPI), continuous improvement and technology development, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Alongside developing and mentoring your team, you’ll collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Programme Management to improve performance, implement new technologies and drive operational excellence.

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager with:

  • Experience within aerospace or a highly regulated manufacturing or engineering environment, composite would be advantageous
  • A strong background in engineering, NPI or product engineering
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to develop and inspire engineering teams is essential
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, engineering processes and ERP/MRP systems
