A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Family Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join its growing private family department. The Role
- You will manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, including:
- Divorce and civil partnership dissolution
- Financial remedy and asset division
- Private children matters
- Financial provision for children
- Cohabitation and separation agreements
Key Responsibilities
- Handling a full caseload from instruction through to completion
- Providing clear, empathetic advice to clients during sensitive matters
- Maintaining high standards of client care and communication
- Ensuring compliance with Lexcel and internal procedures
- Managing billing, time recording, and financial performance of files
- Supporting and supervising junior staff where required
- Contributing to business development and networking
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE in Family Law
- Strong experience in private family matters
- Able to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Organised with strong file management ability
- Commercially aware with good billing practices
- IT proficient (case management systems, Word, Outlook, Excel)
- A team player with a proactive and professional approach
