SJC Partners is currently managing the recruitment process for the hire of a Sales Executive for one of our clients. This role will focus on cold calling investment businesses at volume in order to set up meetings for the Directors of the company.

Our client is a specialist acquisition search business. They partner with private equity firms, family offices, and acquisitive corporates to originate high-quality, off-market acquisition opportunities.

Their model is entirely focused on proactive, tailored searches – identifying, approaching, and engaging target businesses directly, with senior professionals leading the conversations and ensuring quality at every stage.

The Role

As Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm’s growth by engaging both investors and business owners. The role has two key elements:

Investor Engagement:

  • Proactively cold call private equity firms, family offices, and other acquisitive businesses.
  • Briefly explain the firm’s proposition clearly and credibly.
  • Secure meetings for one of the Senior Directors to hold follow-up conversations via video call.

Owner Outreach:

  • Call the owners of businesses identified by clients as acquisition targets.
  • Introduce the idea of an acquisition, explain the client’s interest, and outline the next steps.
  • Set up meetings between the business owner and one of the Senior Directors.

This is a high-volume, outbound calling role that requires resilience, confidence, and excellent communication skills. Success will be measured by the number and quality of meetings booked with senior decision-makers.

What’s on Offer
