The Role The firm is seeking either an experienced Conveyancer or a Fee-Earning Paralegal to join its Birmingham office. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, with appropriate supervision depending on experience, and will play a key role in delivering an efficient and client-focused service. Key Responsibilities Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity Conducting title checks and reporting to clients Preparing and reviewing legal documentation Handling files from instruction through to completion and post-completion Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records using case management systems Requirements Experience as a Conveyancer, Fee-Earning Paralegal, or similar role within property law Ability to manage a conveyancing caseload independently or with minimal supervision Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and client care abilities Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems What the Firm Offers Competitive salary and benefits package Clear progression opportunities within a national firm Ongoing training and professional development A supportive and collaborative working culture Exposure to high-quality and varied property work
