Residential Conveyancer
Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 DOE

SJC Legal is currently working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Property team in Norwich.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancer looking to join a supportive and established department, handling a varied residential property caseload with opportunities for long-term career development.

The Role
- Manage your own Residential Conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Handle Freehold and Leasehold Sales and Purchases, Remortgages and Transfers of Equity
- Undertake title reviews, raise and respond to enquiries and prepare reports on title
- Manage exchange of contracts and completion processes
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other solicitors
- Ensure transactions progress efficiently while maintaining excellent client care
- Build and maintain relationships with local agents and professional contacts
The Candidate
- Be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced unqualified Conveyancer
- Have experience independently managing a Residential Conveyancing caseload
- Be confident handling Freehold and Leasehold transactions
- Have strong technical conveyancing knowledge and excellent attention to detail
- Be highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Have excellent communication and client care skills
- Be a positive team player who enjoys working within a collaborative environment
