An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal (ideal for a Law Graduate or CILEX trainee) to join its busy and reputable Private Client Department. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of private client matters, with genuine scope for career progression and increased responsibility.
The Role
- Working within a supportive and experienced Private Client team, assisting with a wide range of matters including:
- Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Assisting with the administration of estates and trusts
- Supporting Court of Protection Deputyship applications
- Liaising with clients in person, by phone and via email
- Undertaking legal research as required
- Managing new client enquiries
- Providing general administrative and case support to Solicitors and Fee Earners
This role offers exposure to high-quality work and the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge within Private Client law.
About You
- Previous experience within a Private Client department (desirable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive and organised approach
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365
- Understanding of confidentiality and sensitivity in client matters
- A genuine interest in developing a career in Private Client law
