An opportunity built around the individual. SJC Partners is an established recruitment business currently operating in the legal and financial markets, with an 11-year track record, a strong reputation, and a high-performing, stable team. We are looking to appoint an experienced recruitment professional as we broaden our market offering. We’re deliberately open on sector because this hire is about the individual rather than a predefined market. This is an opportunity for someone regarded as a leader in their space who is looking for the right environment to continue building their career and, as desired, a meaningful team around them.
The successful candidate will be a proven high biller with a consistent record of winning work and delivering end-to-end recruitment processes within their market. At this level, we recognise that you are the expert. Our role is to support and invest in you, not to dictate how you operate day to day. This is a highly autonomous role for someone commercially astute and credible, with the freedom to build on existing relationships and work their market in the way they know is most effective.
The Role
- Build on your existing client relationships and network, to maximise the market opportunity.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy while being fully supported.
- Have the opportunity to develop and lead a team over time (experience managing people is desirable, but not essential).
Why SJC Partners
- A genuinely market-leading bonus structure that rewards performance without KPIs or micromanagement.
- A professional, supportive culture with exceptionally low staff turnover - only one person has left to join another recruitment firm since our founding 11 years ago.
- A high-quality team environment built on trust, delivery, and long-term relationships.
- An established platform that allows experienced recruiters to operate in their own way.
- Competitive basic salary.
- Very strong, transparent bonus structure.
- Private healthcare and pension.
- Annual company holidays.
This role will suit a senior recruitment professional who values autonomy, professionalism, and long-term thinking, and who wants to work within a business that backs experienced individuals rather than managing to rigid templates.
