SJC Partners is recruiting an experienced Commercial Property Legal Secretary on behalf of a law firm.
If you enjoy working independently, keeping property matters organised and building strong client relationships, this could be a great next move. You'll provide secretarial and administrative support, taking ownership of day-to-day tasks and helping files progress smoothly.
Your role will include:
- Typing documents and using track changes
- Maintaining electronic and physical files
- Liaising regularly with clients and drafting and sending emails independently
- Handling Land Registry searches, applications and requisitions
- Preparing SDLT returns
- Processing incoming and outgoing funds
- Managing billing and chasing unpaid invoices
- Opening and closing files
- Preparing search cost schedules for residential and commercial property matters
About you:
You'll need previous experience as a Commercial Property Legal Secretary with confidence handling the duties above.
This position requires someone who can hit the ground running, as only limited training will be available. Strong organisation, attention to detail and professional communication skills are essential.
