We are recruiting for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a well established law firm. This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident managing their own caseload and is looking to join a supportive team offering hybrid working and the opportunity to continue developing their career.
The role:
- Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Handling a range of sales and purchases
- Dealing with freehold and leasehold transactions
- Managing searches, enquiries and all relevant conveyancing documentation
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other solicitors
- Keeping clients updated throughout the conveyancing process
- Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and deadlines are met
- Maintaining accurate records using the firm's case management system
About you:
- Previous experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX Lawyer preferred, although experienced non qualified candidates will also be considered
- Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
- Confident communicating with clients and third parties
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Able to manage a busy caseload and prioritise effectively
- Comfortable working independently while also being part of a wider team
