A highly regarded, international law firm is looking to recruit a TST Team Manager to join its well-established Real Estate team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading, forward-thinking firm with a strong reputation across the UK legal market. The role is essentially a Post Completion / Real Estate Manager and will involve managing a pool of paralegals and assistants in the firm's RE team.

The Role:

  • Manage and oversee a team of 12 junior staff members including Paralegals and Assistants
  • Delegate work effectively across the support team and monitor workloads
  • Act as a key point of contact between Partners and the wider support function
  • Support the Real Estate team with transactional and post-completion processes
  • Oversee SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
  • Ensure deadlines and service levels are consistently achieved
  • Assist with improving processes, workflows, and efficiencies across the team
  • Provide ongoing support, supervision, and mentoring to junior staff
  • Maintain high standards of client care and attention to detail

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience managing junior legal support staff is essential
  • Experience within Residential Conveyancing, Real Estate or Commercial Property is essential
  • Strong knowledge of SDLT and Land Registry processes
  • Previous experience as a Post Completion Manager would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills
  • Positive, proactive, and team-focused approach
