Looking for a Legal Assistant role where your organisation skills and client care make a difference?
SJC Partners is recruiting on behalf of an established law firm seeking a Legal Assistant to join its friendly Private Client team. You’ll provide administrative and secretarial support to fee earners, helping client matters run smoothly from opening a file through to completion.
Your role will include:
- Opening files, managing correspondence and maintaining accurate records
- Preparing documents, handling dictation and managing diaries
- Liaising with clients and responding to routine enquiries
- Chasing documents and information from clients and third parties
- Communicating with HMRC and the Office of the Public Guardian
- Closing and archiving files
About you:
You’ll be organised, proactive and confident communicating with clients, with a compassionate approach to sensitive matters. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a varied workload are essential, alongside experience using Microsoft Office and case management systems.
Experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Legal Administrator would be advantageous, particularly within private client, wills, probate or trusts.
