Corporation Tax Assistant Manager

We’re delighted to be representing a Top 10 accountancy practice, currently seeking a talented Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their growing Gloucester team. As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, you’ll be a key member of the regional tax team — managing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, ranging from owner‑managed businesses and SMEs to large international groups. You’ll have the opportunity to support on complex advisory projects, develop client relationships, and play a vital role in mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review corporate tax compliance work for a broad portfolio of clients
Support and deliver tax advisory projects such as restructures, R&D claims, and due diligence
Work closely with Partners and Senior Managers on complex assignments
Review work of junior staff, providing guidance and feedback
Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for added value

About You

ACA / ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
Proven experience in corporate tax within a reputable accountancy practice
Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Ambitious and proactive, with a passion for delivering outstanding client service
