An established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor or Fee Earner to join its expanding Commercial Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional to take ownership of a varied caseload while contributing to the continued growth and success of the department. The successful candidate will have solid experience handling commercial property matters and be confident managing files independently from instruction through to completion. This role would suit someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, developing business opportunities, and delivering practical legal advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse caseload of commercial property matters with minimal supervision
  • Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, and commercial property transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial leases, renewals, licences, and related agreements
  • Handling property due diligence and title investigations
  • Assisting clients with landlord and tenant matters and property-related disputes
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, agents, and professional contacts
  • Supporting business development initiatives and networking opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management procedures
  • Maintaining accurate case records using the firm's case management systems

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or experienced Commercial Property Fee Earner
  • At least 2 years' experience handling commercial property matters
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property transactions
  • Ability to manage files independently and prioritise competing demands
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service
  • Strong business development and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting abilities
  • Experience using legal case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
