SJC Partners is running the process for an innovative mergers and acquisitions research-led business. This company specialises in the sourcing of company acquisition opportunities on behalf of ambitious businesses and private equity investors. This process all starts with the research team, to identify and assess businesses within specific client criteria. Our client works across all sectors and often conducts research for international searches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and interpret each client’s acquisition/search criteria
- Cross-reference companies using multiple advanced research tools and data sources
- Financial performance and headline metrics
- Office locations and geographic footprint
- Service lines, products, or sector focus
- Ensure all research outputs are accurate, well-structured, and client-ready
This position is integral to the business and is the foundation upon which the business operates; therefore, applicants should have a strong interest in research with excellent attention to detail, able to work quickly and on multiple projects concurrently. Applicants with prior research experience will be of particular interest. The successful applicant will likely have a business-related degree, with an ability to commercially assess businesses across a range of sectors and business models.
This role benefits from a strong bonus structure, related to personal performance and completed acquisitions. This role is remote and therefore applicants from all locations will be considered.
