A highly regarded and well-established law firm in Bradford is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy and successful Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid conveyancing support experience who is looking to join a professional and supportive environment with genuine long-term prospects.
Working alongside experienced fee earners, you will play a key role in supporting a caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing administrative and legal support to Conveyancers/Fee Earners
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Opening and closing files in line with compliance procedures
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors
- Managing diaries, appointments and key deadlines
- Handling searches, Land Registry applications and post-completion matters
- Updating clients and third parties throughout the transaction process
- General file management and case progression support
- Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Assistant within residential property
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
