The firm is seeking a Paralegal to join its busy Real Estate team. This is a demanding and fast-paced role, requiring strong attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to manage competing priorities. The successful candidate will gain exposure to both commercial and residential property matters, supporting fee earners on transactions from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting solicitors on a range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, and leases
- Opening, maintaining, and organising files in line with firm policies and regulatory requirements
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties, ensuring clear and timely communication
- Drafting legal documentation including leases, licences, deeds, transfers, SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications, and reports
- Conducting legal research and presenting findings clearly and accurately
- Supporting client reporting processes and key client accounts
- Assisting with AML checks and client due diligence procedures
- Preparing client engagement documentation, fee estimates, and scopes of work
- Previous paralegal experience within real estate/property law preferred
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Clear and professional communication skills
