Your role
SJC Partners are recruiting a Private Client Solicitor to join an established law firm in Worcester. You’ll manage your own varied caseload of Wills, Probate, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney matters, providing clear, practical advice and a high standard of client care. Alongside your fee-earning work, you’ll help develop the department through building relationships with clients and professional referrers. You’ll also support the development of assistants and paralegals within the team.
What you’ll do
- Manage private client matters independently from instruction through to conclusion.
- Advise on Wills, Probate, estate administration, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new connections.
- Attend networking events and support business development.
- Manage billing, payments on account and agreed financial targets.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records using a case management system.
- Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues.
What you’ll need
A proven track record as a Private Client Solicitor, with confidence managing your own caseload. You’ll bring strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills and a professional, empathetic approach to clients. Commercial awareness and an interest in developing client and referrer relationships are also important.
