Junior Residential Property Conveyancer

SJC Legal is currently working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm looking to recruit a Junior Residential Property Conveyancer to join its established Conveyancing team in Mansfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Conveyancing Assistant who is ready to progress into a Junior Conveyancer position or someone already operating at junior fee-earning level. The firm offers structured training, close mentoring and genuine career progression, making this particularly well suited to someone looking to continue developing their technical conveyancing experience.

The Role
- Assist with and progressively manage Residential Conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Support across a range of residential property Sales and Purchases
- Assist with progressing multiple conveyancing matters simultaneously
- Prepare correspondence and legal documentation
- Communicate with clients throughout their transactions and provide regular updates
- Liaise with estate agents, mortgage brokers, lenders, solicitors and other third parties
- Ensure matters are progressed efficiently and key deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate records using the firm's Case Management system
- Deliver a high standard of client care throughout the conveyancing process
- Work closely with experienced Conveyancers and senior members of the department to continue developing your technical knowledge
The Candidate
- Have previous experience within Residential Conveyancing
- Be an experienced Conveyancing Assistant looking to progress or an existing Junior Conveyancer
- Have experience assisting with matters from instruction through to completion
- Be comfortable working across multiple conveyancing transactions and managing competing deadlines
- Have strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Be confident communicating with clients and other professionals
- Have experience using legal Case Management systems and digital tools
- Be proactive and keen to continue developing your technical conveyancing knowledge
- Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience drafting legal documents would be advantageous
- CLC, LPC or another relevant conveyancing/legal qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
- Be comfortable working full-time from the firm's Mansfield office
