As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise in a new and rewarding way, carrying out functional assessments that support individuals applying for health-related benefits. This role allows you to apply your clinical judgement while enjoying regular working hours, no night shifts, and no weekend work.
You'll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessments. Based at one of our UK centres, you'll benefit from a structured working environment, comprehensive training, and clear career development pathways.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting functional assessments and producing clear, accurate, high-quality reports
- Using clinical judgement to assess a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate records in line with clinical governance and quality standards
- Engaging in ongoing training, CPD, and clinical supervision
Requirements:
- Be a registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist)
- Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills
