Communications & Engagement Manager

Salary - £33,502 per annum Permanent - Full time - 35.0 hours per week

The Communications and Engagement Manager, will be integral to the development and delivery of an integrated, coordinated communications plan that will grow brand awareness of St John Ambulance Cymru (SJAC).

Working alongside the DigitalMarketing Manager, the role will be responsible for creating content and messaging that engages and mobilises our people, clients, stakeholder and supporter. The role will also take the lead on our internal communications, ensuring consistency of messaging and the safeguarding of our brand.

What you’ll need to be successful

We are looking for someone who has experience devising and implementing successful PR and communication plans and can connect, communicate and collaborate confidently with a diverse range of audiences.

The role requires someone who can use a range of communications channels to grow organisational reach and brand and has experience of crisis communications management.

You will be proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines, with a strong commitment to SJAC’s values alongside having excellent written and verbal communication, copywriting and influencing skills.

Finally, you will have extensive copywriting experience across print and online channels, be confident monitoring budgets and contributing to financial forecasting and have experience of proactively working with national and regional media to secure positive coverage.
