Wales (with travel to Cardiff and regional visitations) Clinical Trustee Volunteer - 1.5 hours per week.

We are seeking to appoint a Trustee with a clinical background, preferably a healthcare registrant, who has operated at a senior level and who has knowledge of pre-hospital or event care. The person needs to have a passion for ensuring delivery of high-quality patient-centred services and excellence in education and training. This is a significant voluntary role within St John Ambulance Cymru, providing opportunity to ensure the highest standards of clinical governance, clinical policy and safety within St John Ambulance Cymru.

Time Commitment: Approximately 60–80 hours per year.

Key Duties will include:

  • Serve as a Trustee, contributing to good governance and strategic decision making.
  • Serve as a member of the Clinical Governance Committee.
  • Provide expert clinical advice to the Charity and its executive officers.
  • Support the newly appointed Chief Medical Officer in developing clinical policies and operating procedures.
