We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering comprehensive occupational health services for a variety of sectors. About the Role As an Occupational Health Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the health, safety, and productivity of employees. You’ll provide expert, evidence-based advice on attendance, fitness for work, and health-related issues, making a tangible difference in the working lives of individuals every day. This is a full-time position with core hours between 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday , based onsite in Bristol . Key Responsibilities Deliver professional case management for attendance, fitness for work, and other OH referrals. Prepare comprehensive, evidence-based written reports and expert advice on legislative OH requirements. Conduct fitness medicals, health surveillance, and other OH services such as spirometry, audiometry, drug and alcohol screening, ergonomic assessments, and health promotion. Provide clinical supervision and guidance to other team members, including OH Technicians, as needed. Uphold data protection and confidentiality standards and ensure adherence to the latest NMC guidelines for continuous professional development. Skills & Qualifications Registered Nurse (Part 1) with valid NMC registration . Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma. Proficiency in spirometry, audiometry, general medicals, drug and alcohol screening, and case management. Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders, including clients and employees. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and IT skills. Commitment to maintaining current professional competencies, including knowledge of data protection and confidentiality practices in OH. Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Occupational Health. A flexible and proactive approach to OH service delivery, with a demonstrated commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Benefits Competitive salary of £43,000 – £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. Contributory pension scheme up to 6%.
