S J Bargh is a leader in specialised logistics to the milk industry, general haulage, palletised distribution network, Scania Parts Dealership and third-party HGV vehicle repairs and management to customers throughout the UK.

Claughton, Monday – Friday.
Rates of Pay
- Basic rates of pay per shift £171.26
- Basic salary £44,528
Duties of a Class 1 Driver
- As a Class 1 driver you will be required to transport palletised goods from our depot at Claughton within the LA postcodes in accordance with supervisors’ instructions.
- Follow assigned schedules to ensure timely delivery and collection of pallets, reporting any delays or queries to your supervisor.
- Inspect vehicles and trailers before and after use to ensure they are in a safe and road legal condition, ensuring procedures for defect reporting are followed and escalated to supervisor/workshop.
- Adhere to load security procedures (Internal straps, load safety).
- Report any shortages or damages to supervisors.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and site rules at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers.
Experience/Qualifications required for Class 1 Driver
- Valid C licence, Digital drivers tachograph card and Drivers CPC qualification.
- Experience of delivering within the LA postcode area would be an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years driving history is desirable but not essential for the right candidate as training will be given.
