Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Glass Collector to join our vibrant hospitality team. This will be an immediate start and will include working NYE and NYD. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, serve beverages efficiently, and ensure all customers enjoy a memorable experience. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Take orders accurately and deliver prompt service to guests at the bar
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and uphold responsible serving policies
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing correct change where applicable
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a positive atmosphere
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Skills
- Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy shifts
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests
- Personable demeanour with a professional attitude towards service excellence
- Fully flexible as shift will vary every week
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
