Role Description

This is an adhoc role (self employed) for an event catering assistant based in Wisbech but events up to 70 miles radius. The catering assistant will be responsible for setting up the service and preparation area, food preparation, grilling and ensuring that each dish meets our high standards. Tasks include assisting with setting up events, providing excellent customer service to clients and guests, maintaining food safety protocols and contributing to the overall success of events by working collaboratively with team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food Service and Catering, with a keen attention to detail in food presentation
• Proficiency in Cooking and preparation of high-quality meals
• Strong commitment to Food Safety and knowledge of food hygiene best practices
• Exceptional Customer Service and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced event environments
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings and travel to event locations across various regions (travel time is paid and transport is provided)
• Previous event catering experience is a bonus
