Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years. /p /p p p Were recruiting for four Project Management office (PMO) Industrial Placements in London. /p /p p p Taking on a real job at a junior level, you ll have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience under the guidance of highly skilled and experienced colleagues. /p /p p p strong What you ll be doing /strong /p /p p p As a PMO Industrial Placement Student, you ll work alongside experienced project professionals and support the successful delivery of key programmes across the Sizewell C project. /p /p p p Your responsibilities may include: /p /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Supporting project planning, scheduling and reporting activities. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Assisting with the preparation of project dashboards, presentations and performance reports. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Monitoring project milestones, risks, issues and actions. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Supporting governance meetings and tracking key decisions. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Analysing project data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Working with stakeholders across multiple project teams. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO function. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Helping maintain project documentation and management systems. /p /li /ul /p p p This placement will provide exposure to project controls, programme management, risk management, governance and business performance reporting within a major infrastructure project. /p /p p p strong Who we re looking for /strong /p /p /p p p p We re interested in students who are: /p /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Currently studying for a degree in Project Management, Programme Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain/Logistics. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Looking to complete a 12-month industrial placement as part of their degree. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Strong communicators who can build effective working relationships. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Organised, proactive and eager to learn. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Comfortable analysing information and presenting findings. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. /p /li /ul /p p ul no-style= list-style-type:disc li p Interested in project delivery and major infrastructure programmes. /p /li /ul /p p p strong What you ll gain /strong /p /p p p Over the course of this 12-month programme, you ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in hands-on learning, working on real-world challenges that directly impact the energy industry.
