SZC’s first top-level safety report, the Pre-Construction Safety Report (PCSR), will enable the release of two project milestones: First Nuclear Safety Concrete milestone and Nuclear Island Concrete milestone. Therefore, PCSR’s production will be SZC DA’s priority over the next few years.

The Design Authority Safety Case Engineer will report to the safety case integration group lead of DA and will be responsible for leading the development of the various sections of the PCSR under Licence Condition 14 arrangements. Candidates with a broader background are welcomed in anticipation of future vacancies opening in the safety case branch.
