Sizewell C is hiring for the Records Leads Manager role. Location: London (hybrid working arrangements). Employment type: Permanent full-time/ part-time. Salary: Competitive dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits. Closing date: Thursday 11 September 2025.
The Opportunity
Sizewell C. The power of good for Britain. This is one of the UK’s largest megaprojects, a nuclear new build project in Suffolk. The project has obtained planning approval and Government financing support, with construction started and private investment sought. When completed, it will provide electricity to millions of homes and support Britain in achieving Net Zero by 2050. Our teams are set up to work flexibly with hybrid arrangements between offices and home, and we provide a full suite of IT equipment to enable effective remote work.
The Role
As the Records Leads Manager, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring accurate, secure, and compliant records management across the Sizewell C programme. You’ll provide oversight of digital and physical records, manage interfaces between contractors and internal stakeholders, and ensure consistency in document control, archival processes, and data integrity. You will work closely with Information Governance, Quality, Engineering, and Project Controls teams to ensure record-keeping practices support both day-to-day operations and long-term regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead a records management team to ensure accurate, secure, and compliant records across the Sizewell C programme.
- Oversee digital and physical records and ensure consistency in document control, archival processes, and data integrity.
- Manage interfaces between contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Information Governance, Quality, Engineering, and Project Controls teams to support day-to-day operations and regulatory requirements.
Skills / Qualifications
- Proven experience in a records management or document control leadership role within a large-scale infrastructure, construction, or regulated industry project.
- Strong understanding of information lifecycle management, digital records systems, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and teams.
- Experience with systems such as SharePoint, Documentum, Aconex, or similar EDMS platforms.
- Familiarity with UK regulatory requirements, including nuclear or major project standards, is desirable.
- Relevant professional certification or training in records/information management is a plus (e.g. IRMS, AIIM).
