Sizewell C is a nuclear newâbuild project in Suffolk that, once completed, will supply dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.
The Opportunity
We're recruiting students to join our Supply Chain Industrial Placement programme at our London office. Taking on a real job at a junior level, you'll learn through handsâon experience under the guidance of highly skilled and experienced colleagues.

What You Will Be Doing
Over the course of this 12âmonth programme you'll immerse yourself in handsâon learning, working on realâworld challenges that directly impact the energy industry. Most of your learning will be onâtheâjob, supported by your mentor and the teams around you. You'll apply your academic training to genuine industry problems while completing modules that contribute towards your degree.
Previous students have been involved in projects such as:
- Supporting procurement processes from expression of interest to contract award.
- Supporting contract management of projects in a portfolio, including assessment of applications for payments and change control.
- Providing commercial support to the project management team in the effective delivery of contracts and reporting commercial data to senior leaders.
Security Vetting
To be appointed to this role you must meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which ordinarily requires you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.

Join the team at Sizewell C. Our vision is to Lead The Way On Nuclear. Sizewell C is one of the most exciting and largest new megaprojects in the UK, at the forefront of the UK's climateâchange agenda and energy policy. We are building a 3.2âgigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast, similar in design to Hinkley Point C. When built, it will generate lowâcarbon electricity for at least 60 years, supplying over 6 million homes and supporting roughly 7% of the UK's electricity needs. Sizewell C operates under the Regulated Asset Base model, with the UK Government as the largest shareholder alongside La Caisse, Centrica, EDF and Amber Infrastructure.
