You will work on one of the UK's most exciting sustainable energy projects, Sizewell C, a nuclear new build in Suffolk. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.
What You Will Be Doing
- Collaborate with different departments to translate business needs into data requirements.
- Collect, clean and connect data from various sources to support business decisions.
- Use appropriate data analytics and statistical techniques to discover trends, patterns and meaningful insights to drive decision-making.
- Communicate insights to a range of stakeholders, including the use of PowerBI and Excel to create accessible dashboards and reports.
- Support the business to manage its critical datasets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.
Your Work Location
While you will be based at our London office, you may also be required to travel to other locations to support other business units and to expand your knowledge and experience of the nuclear industry. Join our 2-year apprenticeship programme and gain hands-on experience while working towards your qualification. As part of the programme, day release for college with some remote learning is likely.
Who You Are
- Five GCSEs in the A* to C or 9 to 4 range including English and Maths.
- Attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture and identify data problems and develop solutions.
- Keen interest in data with a willingness to learn, grow and adapt to the latest data tools and technology.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to pick up new tools and technology (e.g. Excel/PowerBI). Logical thinker; interest in coding (SQL/Python) is a plus.
- Passionate about data with the ability to engage stakeholders and make data accessible.
- A team player excited to collaborate with our business and data experts to build end-to-end data solutions.
Pay, Benefits & Culture

Join the Sizewell C team. Our vision is to Lead The Way On Nuclear. Sizewell C is a major megaproject at the forefront of the UK climate agenda and energy policy. We are building a 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast, with a design similar to Hinkley Point C where possible. The power station will generate low-carbon electricity for at least 60 years, supplying over 6 million homes and supporting around 7% of the UK's current electricity needs.
We are the first nuclear power station in the UK funded under the Regulated Asset Base (RAB) model. Our largest shareholder is the UK Government, alongside equity partners. Sizewell C operates in a complex stakeholder environment with government bodies, regulators, local communities, supply chain partners and international collaborators, offering professional challenge and growth.
To be appointed, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, typically requiring residency in the UK for at least three of the past five years.
