What You'll Be Doing
As a Construction Manager, you'll oversee the re-construction of a key section of the SZC works. You'll lead the charge in ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. From tactical logistics planning to stakeholder engagement, your role will encompass the entire construction lifecycle, including:
- Team Leadership
- Strategic Execution: You will be helping the PM to develop and implement detailed construction strategies and plans.
- Project Oversight: To deliver new projects into Sizewell C Project with safety and quality at the forefront of our works.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with contractors, regulators, and government bodies to ensure project success.
- Continuous Improvement: Driving innovation and embedding lessons learned to ensure world-class project delivery.
Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and a proven track record of their implementation.

- Industry expertise within construction and civil engineering.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on projects and working within regulated environments.
- Management skills: Supervising Tier 1 contractors.
- Leadership capabilities: Ability to inspire teams, resolve complex issues, and foster collaboration.
- Technical knowledge: Familiarity with construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools.
- Strong communication: Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Degree and chartered status in an engineering, construction, or other related field desirable.
- SMSTS and CSCS site manager card - Essential.
