As Cost Manager, you will be responsible for providing robust cost management, forecasting, and commercial assurance across significant work packages on the Sizewell C project. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure cost certainty and value for money throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience in cost management on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 desirable)
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen
- Confident communicator, able to engage with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar (MRICS / MCIOB desirable)
- Be open to others' points of view and ideas, be willing to debate and to compromise
- Identify solutions at the lowest possible level and drive them to delivery
- Encourage tier 1s and others to bring new ideas forward
