We're looking for an organised, proactive and highly dependable READ Team Administrator to join our Regional External Affairs and Development (READ) team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on organisation and takes pride in being the person who keeps everything moving behind the scenes.

The Opportunity: This is far more than a traditional administration role. You'll become the hub of the READ team, providing essential support across meetings, finance, office coordination, team activities and stakeholder engagement. No two days will be the same and you'll be trusted to manage competing priorities while helping the team operate efficiently and professionally.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing administrative support across the READ team and wider business as required
  • Coordinating meetings, diaries and team activities
  • Supporting the Head of READ and wider team with organisational and administrative requirements
  • Preparing and coordinating weekly team meetings and reporting activities
  • Managing office rotas and supporting visitor coordination alongside security colleagues
  • Supporting local team meetings and events
  • Highlighting training, charity, diversity and inclusion initiatives and project events to the team
  • Providing finance administration support including invoices, purchase cards, trackers and month-end activities
  • Supporting colleagues with company systems and maintaining awareness of process changes
  • Monitoring team training compliance and records
  • Assisting with the delivery of team events and engagement activities
  • Helping maintain a professional, welcoming and effective office environment
  • Providing support and cover for front‑of‑house activities at the Information Office when required
  • Supporting community engagement activities including occasional cover for the community phone line

What We're Looking For: We're looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable and able to remain calm under pressure. You'll be comfortable managing multiple tasks, enjoy working with people at all levels and have a proactive approach to solving problems. You’ll also have:

  • Strong experience in an administration, team support, coordination, PA or office based support role
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience coordinating meetings, diaries or team activities
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to deal with confidential information professionally and discreetly
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support a busy team

Experience using Tractivity would be beneficial but is not essential. When joining Sizewell C, you may wonder why you are contacted by colleagues with an EDF email or see the EDF logo on portals that you access and/or documentation you receive; this is because we have partnered with EDF for the provision of a number of support services whilst we complete a successful transition out of the EDF group. At Sizewell C we encourage and embrace diversity and how it can improve our experience and performance at work. It is a requirement that those who join us have the right to work in the UK. Whilst sponsorship may be a possibility that we can explore, we are fully committed to local recruitment where possible, and those already holding the right to work in the UK. To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
