Location: Hybrid; London or Manchester (1-2 days per week) in preferred location with occasional travel to London.

Help Deliver One of the UK's Largest Infrastructure Projects. Sizewell C is one of the UK's largest and most exciting infrastructure projects. We're looking for a PMO Assurance Analyst to support the delivery of our Integrated Assurance Framework, providing insight, governance and assurance across a complex, highly regulated programme. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in assurance, audit, risk, governance, PMO, project controls or compliance who enjoys analysing information, identifying trends and supporting senior decision-making.
What You'll Do:
- Support the PMO Assurance Framework and assurance planning activities.
- Maintain assurance plans, governance documentation, trackers and action logs.
- Analyse assurance findings, risks, themes and lessons learned.
- Produce dashboards, reports and management information for senior stakeholders.
- Monitor assurance KPIs and track delivery against assurance plans.
- Coordinate assurance activities across multiple teams and functions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of data analytics and AI-enabled tools.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in assurance, audit, risk, controls, compliance, governance, PMO, project controls, quality or a related discipline.
- Understanding of governance, risk, controls and assurance principles, including the Three Lines Model.
- Strong analytical, reporting and organisational skills.
- Experience managing trackers, action logs, reporting deadlines and stakeholder inputs.
- Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using Power BI, data analytics tools or dashboarding platforms.
- High attention to detail and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience within infrastructure, construction, engineering, nuclear, energy or other regulated industries.
- Experience supporting assurance planning, audit programmes, risk management or governance reporting.
- Familiarity with assurance frameworks, audit management systems or control frameworks.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 31000 or other assurance and governance frameworks.

Sizewell C’s business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk. Overall, whilst the Company is in the construction phase, the Boards’ principal focus is on the development and construction of Sizewell C on time, on budget and to the highest quality and safety standards. The Company is maturing to meet all these requirements. Sizewell C is economically regulated by OFGEM under the RAB model similar to other UK electricity distribution networks and Thames Tideway. Sizewell C construction strategy is to replicate the design of Hinkley Point C, using the majority of the same supply chain, but innovating in the way it is delivered to achieve savings in time and cost of around 20%. The CCO will need to be guided by and incorporate lessons learned from the Hinkley Point C commercial delivery to achieve Sizewell C’s ambition. Following Financial Completion and Revenue Commencement, Sizewell C is fully funded and is owned by; The Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero representing HM Government, La Caisse, Centrica, EDF and Amber Infrastructure.
