Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), supporting Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.
This role will be within the Enabling and Earthwork Section.
What will you do?
The BLF Lead is responsible for the strategic planning, sourcing, management, and delivery of BLF materials required to support enabling and earthworks activities across the SZC project. The role ensures a consistent, compliant, and cost-effective supply of suitable materials while meeting environmental, regulatory, and programme requirements. This role interfaces closely with engineering, commercial, logistics, environmental, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project delivery objectives.
What are we looking for?
- Experience on nuclear or large infrastructure projects (e.g., highways, rail, energy)
- Knowledge of Sizewell C or similar large-scale civil engineering programmes
- Commercial awareness including contract management and cost control
