Digital Engineering Coordinator Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C
As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within theMarine and Tunnels Section.
What will you do?
The Sizewell C (SZC) project seeks a Digital Engineering Co-ordinator for the Marine and Tunnelling section to implement the project's Digital Strategy and Digital Execution Plan. The Digital Engineering Coordinator will play a central role in the implementation of the SZC project's Digital Framework and Execution Plan. The position is responsible for coordinating the digital delivery processes, ensuring that models and data produced by various project teams meet client and project requirements, and overseeing digital workflows through design, construction, and handover stages. The purpose of this role is to support the team to develop the way we will work to deliver digital information one of the UKs largest infrastructure projects, managing task teams and embedding any specific standards, methods and/or procedures required by the client.
What are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 and/or 3-5 years industry previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience with managing task teams within Design and/or Construction delivery by respecting project requirements and to appropriate deadlines.
- Experience with developing and optimising workflows for Construction delivery.
- Experience in providing trainings to different stakeholders.
- Understanding Digital Level 2 Standards and Protocols, contracts and documentations with an eye for detail.
- A wider familiarity of Design, Construction, Surveying and Asset Management, and the interconnectability within the construction industry.
- Tekla structures, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Revit application experience.
- Experience working with .ifc.
- Model Data review experience (Solibri, BIM Collab Zoom or equivalent).
- Clash Detection experience (BIM Collab Zoom, Navisworks, Revizto or equivalent).
- Design issue management tools experience (BIMcollab or equivalent).
- GIS application experience would be desirable.
- Synchro Software experience or equivalent.
