Over the course of this 12-month programme, Youll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in hands‑on learning, working on real‑world challenges that directly impact the energy industry. Most of your learning will be on the job, supported by your mentor and the teams around you. Youll have a chance to apply your academic training to genuine industry problems while completing modules that contribute towards your degree.
Previous students on a Commercial Management Industrial Placement have been involved in projects such as:
- Supporting procurement processes from expression of interest to contract award.
- Supporting the contract management of projects in a portfolio of work, undertaking activities such as the assessment of applications for payments and change control.
- Providing commercial support to the project management team in the effective delivery of contracts. Reporting commercial data to senior leaders in the business.
