We're looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to join our Financial Control team and help shape the future of financial reporting at Sizewell C.

This is an opportunity to build deep expertise across key accounting areas within one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.
You'll gain exposure to complex accounting matters, help shape new processes and controls, and work alongside experienced finance professionals in a collaborative environment. As the project continues to grow, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge across multiple finance disciplines while supporting a nationally important clean energy project.
You'll also benefit from a culture that encourages innovation, continuous improvement and professional development.
What You'll Be Doing
As Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for:
- Owning and developing working capital reporting, analysis and KPI monitoring
- Leading month end working capital reporting, including variance analysis and management insights

- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving reconciling items
- Supporting monthly reporting, statutory accounts and regulatory submissions
- Providing technical accounting support, including IFRS assessments and accounting papers
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Developing and strengthening financial controls, policies and procedures
- Contributing to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working collaboratively with finance and business stakeholders across the project
