About the Role
We are on the lookout for Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. Flexibility is key, as you will need to work one weekend day per week. Ideally, you should have:
- 2-3 years of HGV Class 1 driving experience
- A clean driving record and driving licence
Expect to work between 40-50 hours a week, with the possibility of extended hours and weekend shifts, especially during holidays. Exciting tramping roles are also available, offering dedicated trucks and the option to travel across the UK!

- Various shift patterns available
- Average shift length: 8 – 12 hours
- Options for Days, Afternoon, and Night shifts

HGV Driver Requirements
- Valid commercial Driving Licence with categories C / C+E
- Professional Driving Qualification (CPC)
- Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
- Pass a background check
- Pass a standard drug and alcohol test*
- Ability to speak and read English satisfactorily
- No more than 6 penalty points on your Driver’s Licence (No DD, DR, or IN endorsements accepted)
*Approved drivers must have BGC results as “Meets Requirements” and negative drug and alcohol test results.

- Prioritise health and safety at all times
- Be flexible to work evenings and weekends
- Maintain electronic logs for routes and deliveries
- Conduct daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and report any issues
- Utilise route navigation apps and local knowledge to ensure timely deliveries
