The Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our growing Building Services division as an Apprentice Air Conditioning Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long‑term career within the air conditioning and wider building services industry. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain hands‑on experience in installing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of air conditioning systems across high‑end residential and commercial properties in London. No prior air conditioning experience is required, just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced engineers with installations, planned maintenance and reactive repairs
- Support the installation of split, multi‑split and VRV/VRF systems
- Learn to carry out servicing, fault‑finding and basic diagnostics
- Use tools, testing equipment and systems safely and effectively
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to health & safety requirements
- Complete apprenticeship coursework, training and assessments
- Keep vans, tools and work areas organised, clean and professional
- Represent the business positively on client sites
About You
- A keen interest in engineering and building services
- A positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop
- Reliability, punctuality and commitment to completing your apprenticeship
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Impeccable organisation and the ability to follow instructions carefully
- Basic IT and numeracy skills
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)

Additional Information

Recognised training providers include the College of North West London, South Thames College Group, City of Westminster College, Capital City College Group and Croydon College. We welcome applications from individuals intending to start a relevant college course, as well as those already partway through their studies, and are happy to offer an immediate start even if your course begins in September.
