We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Furniture Sprayer to join the team at our workshop in Whitby. This is a unique opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most exclusive residential projects, collaborating with renowned architects and interior designers in a supportive and creative environment.

The Role
As a Furniture Sprayer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our bespoke furniture meets the highest standards of finish. Working in our Whitby workshop, you’ll prepare and spray a wide range of surfaces, ensuring consistency and quality in every piece.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare furniture surfaces for finishing
- Apply paints, stains, and finishes using spray equipment
- Mix paints and stains accurately, including specialist finishes (metalized advantageous)
- Ensure smooth, even coverage and premium finish quality
- Maintain and clean spray equipment to a high standard
- Carry out quality checks and make necessary touch-ups
- Follow all safety standards and workshop procedures
About You
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with proven spraying experience and a passion for high-quality craftsmanship. To be considered for this role you will be:
- Experienced in spraying finishes on furniture or similar products
- Highly knowledgeable of surface preparation
- Skilled in mixing paints and stains
- Proficient in maintaining spray equipment
- Able to pay exceptional attention to detail and quality control
- Meticulous at time management and organisation
- Aware of and be able to adhere to safety standards
