We are looking to recruit a Back End Engineer to join us on fast moving, innovative and influential work that is underway in the Defence and Security Sector. The role is to be part of a small highly skilled engineering team to extend the capabilities of an existing platform using a combination of AI approaches (e.g., LLM) and ASP logic programming.
Must-have skills:
- 5 years minimum experience as a backend developer
- Experience with Python
- Data pipeline creation and management
- API creation and integration
- Database creation and integration
- Working with system models and JSON schemas
Highly desired skills:
- ASP (Answer Set Programming) or other logic programming language
- Experience dealing with geospatial file formats
- Expertise in optimisation problems
