We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our existing experienced team. Join our team and play a vital role in shaping some of our exciting projects where everyone has a voice, and together we face our clients' problems head-on. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business resources to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Integrity - Promote a high professional standard at all times.
  • Experience in working with multiple project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling systems (Cat 5e, Cat 6, fibre optic) and associated containment methods.
  • Experience in managing low voltage infrastructure projects (data, voice, video, wifi).
  • Familiarity/experience in delivery of network rooms/comms rooms/data centers.
  • Market experience working within the UK Defence & Security sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management - The ability to manage all aspects of project delivery, including forecasting, change management and risk management.
  • Oversee deliverables from cross-functional teams, vendors, and business resources.
  • Foster open communication across teams to identify cross-team development dependencies and risks early on.
  • Work with project accountants to manage project finances.
  • Experience of working in a project delivery environment with a sound understanding of structured and agile methodologies and applying them in separate situations (e.g. APMP, MSP, Jira, Tempo, Scrum).

Problem solving: The ability to identify problems collaboratively and develop actions/solutions, communicating both to key stakeholders and presenting information through reports, dashboards and slides as appropriate.

Commercial awareness: Providing contract management, supplier management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related fields preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., APMP, Prince2, Agile Certification).
  • Strong project management, risk management, and procurement management skills.
  • Must be used to managing delivery teams in infrastructure environments or build environments.
  • Familiarity with the Agile, Waterfall and Shape Up profiles and methodologies.
  • Applicants must already be authorised to work in a highly controlled defence environment.
