Work on Technology That Protects What Matters
At Si Xworks, we build secure digital solutions that support Defence and National Security missions.
Our teams work on complex problems where reliability, security, and speed of innovation matter.
We’re looking for a Technical Delivery Assurance Coordinator who enjoys solving difficult technical challenges and wants their work to have real operational impact.
What You’ll Do
As a Technical Assurance Delivery Coordinator, you’ll work closely with engineering, delivery, and service teams to ensure that delivery activities are aligned to agreed standards, governance processes, and lifecycle controls.
The focus of the role is on tracking, reporting, and facilitating assurance activities rather than performing deep technical reviews.
Your work may include
- Governance & Assurance Support
- Coordinate assurance activities across projects and delivery workstreams.
- Maintain governance frameworks, templates, and reporting packs.
- Track progress against delivery lifecycle checkpoints (SDLC, STLC, Service Transition).
- Support preparation for governance boards, audits, and assurance reviews.
- Ensure required documentation is complete, up-to-date, and stored appropriately.
- Delivery Coordination
- Work with delivery managers and technical teams to track milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Assist in planning and scheduling governance reviews and checkpoints.
- Follow up on actions from assurance reviews and governance meetings.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Produce regular status reports, dashboards, and summaries for stakeholders.
- Highlight documentation gaps and issues, and concerns in a clear and structured way.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and governance stakeholders.
- Support communication of assurance outcomes to programme leadership.
- Process & Continuous Improvement
- Support the continual improvement of delivery, assurance, and governance processes across programmes and projects.
- Help standardise reporting and documentation practices.
- Identify areas where delivery processes can be streamlined.
- What We’re Looking For
We value people who take ownership, think critically, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team tackling complex challenges.
You don’t need to tick every box, but we’re particularly interested in people with skills/experience in:
- A delivery coordination, PMO, governance, or assurance support role.
- Promote pragmatic application of standards, controls, and delivery frameworks, balancing governance requirements with effective delivery outcomes.
- Basic understanding of software delivery and IT lifecycle concepts (SDLC, testing, service delivery).
- Experience supporting governance, reporting, or compliance activities.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.
- Experience working with delivery or technical teams.
- Experience within public sector, defence, or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methods.
- Awareness of ITIL or service management concepts.
- Exposure to cloud or technical delivery environments (AWS/Azure) – awareness only, not hands-on.
- Just as important are curiosity, strong problem solving ability, and the motivation to continuously improve how technology is designed and delivered.
