We’re looking for a Level 3 Support Engineer who enjoys solving difficult technical challenges and wants their work to have real operational impact. This role is onsite in Bristol.
What You’ll Do
As a Level 3 Support Engineer, you’ll support our team to design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions in highly secure environments. You’ll work alongside engineers, architects, and delivery specialists to develop technology that enables faster, safer decision-making for critical operations. Your work may include:
- Respond to incoming tickets and provide ongoing feedback on progress.
- Patching & new version installation.
- Providing 3rd line support for our environments, services and infrastructure.
- End user support (desk-side and remote).
- Issuing comms to the user community for incidents and maintenance events.
- Respond to monitoring alerts, triage and escalate where necessary.
- Ensure incident tickets are appropriately updated and maintained, and fed into the major incident process where necessary.
- Ensure incident resolutions are appropriately documented in the ticketing system and wider knowledge base.
What We’re Looking For
We value people who take ownership, think critically, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team tackling complex challenges. You don’t need to tick every box, but we’re particularly interested in people with skills/experience in:
- Microsoft Active Directory and Sharepoint.
- Azure/Entra/AD administration.
- Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with supporting varieties of web apps.
- Incident, change and problem management.
- Endpoint Management/In tune administration.
- Running of PowerShell scripts.
- End User Device provisioning, onboarding of users.
- Understanding of security concepts (MFA, Conditional Access).
- Atlassian suite of ITSM equivalent tooling.
Just as important are curiosity, strong problem solving ability, and the motivation to continuously improve how technology is designed and delivered.
