We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our existing experienced team.
You will be responsible for managing identity solutions across enterprise platforms. You'll work in a multi-supplier environment within MOD, Public Sector, and regulated environments, ensuring compliance with NIST frameworks and security standards, working closely with the Security Lead and technical teams to design the solution.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks- Design, implement, and maintain IdAM solutions across EntraID, Active Directory, Keycloak, NetIQ, and AWS Cognito
- Implement and enforce RBAC and ABAC policies across enterprise systems
- Configure authentication using SAML, OIDC (OpenID Connect), and SSO solutions
- Manage Kubernetes and OpenShift RBAC configurations
- Support identity integration with Cloud Pack for Data (CP4D) and Maximo (advantage)
- Ensure compliance with NIST frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Work collaboratively within multi-supplier teams
- Automate provisioning workflows and maintain identity federation
- Identity & Security Technologies: EntraID (Azure AD) and Active Directory administration, Keycloak, NetIQ, and AWS Cognito, SAML and OIDC (OpenID Connect) protocols, RBAC and ABAC implementation, Kubernetes and OpenShift role management
- Environment & Compliance: MOD, Public Sector, or regulated environment experience, NIST Cybersecurity Framework knowledge, Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
- Technical & Professional: 3-5 years IdAM experience, Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Terraform), Strong team player and communicator, Multi-supplier environment experience
- IBM Maximo identity integration
- Cloud Pack for Data (CP4D) configurations
- Knowledge of MOD policies (e.g. JSP 440, 453)
- Experience of working with MOD Assurance
