We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Atlassian Administrator (fixed term) to join our existing experienced team. This role helps to manage and enhance the Atlassian suite of tools, ensuring optimal performance and seamless user experiences across the organization. The position plays a key role in supporting team collaboration and streamlining business and service management processes.
Responsibilities
- Advise, configure, support, and enhance our Atlassian Cloud Suite of Tools including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and Product Discovery.
- Configure and enhance system configuration, including simple/complex workflows, custom fields, screens and automation rules.
- Create custom reports on Jira and Confluence, using built-in tools and third-party add-ons such as dashboards, filters, and Jira Plans.
- Guide Project Professionals through effective configuration and use of Jira’s tools/features.
- Assist with user management, permissions and best practice in the use of our tooling.
- Contribute to efficiency and cost-saving efforts through product configurations.
- Work with the rest of the team and wider organisation to introduce automation improvements, enhancements or third-party add-ons that can help bring efficiency and streamline how our teams deliver work.
Skills required
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance in a rapidly changing environment.
- Being able to look at a business problem and help suggest improvements within the boundaries of Atlassian.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables at any given time through effective time-management and planning.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and communication, both written and spoken.
- Facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail, and a collaborative attitude.
Knowledge - Required
- Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Atlassian Guard.
- Creating and managing automation rules, including handling failures.
- Creating and amending workflows.
- Awareness of Jira Service Management schemas and their configuration.
- Confident navigating Atlassian logs and taking appropriate action.
- Understanding of Agile frameworks.
- Ability to create, amend, and archive projects (working closely with the support desk).
Knowledge - Nice to have
- Experience with Tempo Timesheets and Capacity Planner add-ons.
- Awareness of Atlassian APIs and how integrations operate both to and from the system.
- Awareness of or hands-on experience creating and managing Rovo agents.
- Working toward or already holding ACP or ACA certification.
