We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our existing experienced team.
What do we look for in a Business Analyst
We are powered by brilliant people. As a Business Analyst you will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the following:
- Requirement gathering, ideation, and documentation of platforms and applications, including entity diagrams and relevant frameworks to ensure effective identification of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Promote standard methodology and education to colleagues and clients.
- Operate within and suggest best practices/patterns applicable to the technology and domain.
- Bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders to ensure capabilities are appropriately leveraged.
- Provide platform and process expertise as guidance to client-side delivery stakeholders.
- Liaise with other stakeholders within and outside of project teams, such as the client and other roles across the client’s wider business, to best achieve success.
- Provide coaching to more junior members of the team.
Essential experience & skills
- Business analyst experience on technical (ideally IT) projects.
- Either holds or has recently held government security clearance already, or is suitable for and willing to go through the vetting process (suitability would include an absence of a serious criminal record, a right to work and live in UK and, preferably, a record of 5 years’ UK residency)
- Working within Agile and Waterfall environments, including Kanban.
- Driven self-starter, keen to work in a small & dynamic team.
- Experience with Jira.
- Good working relationship with QA testers, including requirement writing.
- Defense and/or Public Sector experience.
